August 2014 Club Projects

One of these days, I'm going to better at blogging more frequently!   Below are the projects that we made in my stamp club this month.  The first card is from a stamp set from the new Holiday Catalog available August 28-January 5.  The project uses a Christmas set called Bright & Beautiful in the Holiday Catalog and is part of a Big Shot promotion going on this month.  I am not quite ready to start Christmas cards yet, so I took a different route with my card.  Enjoy!

My Swaps - Inspire.Create.Share 2014

Last week was Stampin' Up's annual convention - Inspire.Create.Share 2014.  As usual, I had so much fun! I typically have my card swaps posted much earlier than this, but it has been a busy week.  Some of my favorite things at convention this year were:

• Prize Patrol!!  I won a fun stamp set called Holiday Home and the coordinating framelits from the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  I'll try to post some samples soon.
• We got a copy of the upcoming Holiday Catalog, which doesn't become available until August 28. There are so many fun things in this catalog and convention attendees were able to pre-purchase some of the items in the new catalog and take them home with us.  Can't wait to start playing!
• Stamping and more stamping.

May 2014 Background Calendar

Stampin' Up recently partnered with Becky Higgins to bring Project Life products to Stampin' Up customers.  If you're not familiar with Project Life, it is an easy way to get photos into albums by simply slipping your pictures in Photo Pocket Pages and adding pre-designed cards.  The Project Life products available through Stampin' Up will be exclusive and will come in Stampin' Up's wonderful colors.

You will also be able to get Project Life products digitally and that's what I made my calendar with using the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection (item# 137345).  Below is a sample of the Everyday Adventure Card Collection.  There are select products available now, with more being available in June with the launch of the new Stampin' Up catalog.

February Club Projects

Here are the projects I did for my February Club:

To make the tag treat holder you will need a 2" X 8.5" piece of cardstock.  Score at 3.5 inches and at 5 inches.  Use the Angled Tag Topper Punch on both ends of the piece of cardstock.  This size of treat holder will comfortably fit 4 pieces of Hershey's Nuggets.

February Background Calendar

I haven't posted much of anything lately and I hope to change that soon.  This is the background calendar that I designed on Stampin' Up's My Digital Studio (MDS).  The digital content I used are from the Get Going and Amp & Ampersands Kits, plus the tall heart punch.  The font I used is Seriously Sally.  Enjoy!

January 2014 Calendar

This time of year always brings the hope of doing better.  Setting goals, looking to the future, starting over, making plans, etc.  For me this year isn't much different, with the exception of maybe making more realistic goals and not getting discouraged before I even start.  One of my goals this year is to enjoy more time stamping and creating more digital products.  Accomplishing this goal will help me accomplish another - posting more often on my blog! 

This is the first project I have done this year - my January calendar background.  Today I realized that Stampin' Up didn't design a calendar this month, so I had to go back to designing my own.  I used parts from the Hello World, Rise & Shine, and Winter Wonder digital kits from Stampin' Up. 

In the future I hope you enjoy the projects that I post and I wish you the best of luck in accomplishing all that you want to in 2014!
