October 2013 Background Calendar

I haven't designed a background calendar for a while.  Stampin' Up has been releasing a digital calendar download each month and I have been using theirs.  I didn't like that Stampin' Up's October calendar wasn't about Halloween, so I created my own.  Enjoy!

August 2013 Club Project #1

I'm splitting my Club Projects in to two posts because I did some

coordinating bonus projects this month. I really like the color combination used on these projects (Strawberry Slush, Island Indigo and Pool Party).  That's one thing I like about Stampin' Up's Designer Series Paper - you can always get color inspiration from them and everything coordinates!  Enjoy!

Candle Box

This is my coordinating project.  I have a friend that had her birthday and I wanted to give her a little gift.  I made her the card above, but used a different saying (Finally A Day That Really is All About You!) from the Really Good Greetings stamp set. The Tag a Bag Gift Box I used in this project is 6-7/8" x 2-1/8" x 2-1/2".  You get 8 boxes for $6.95 and they are food-safe!  I filled the box with three mini candles from Bath & Body Works. I love being able to coordinate my gift with the card!!
